Le Royal Meridien Beach and Resort Spa

Let me start by saying that Le Royal Meridien not only has the best breakfast buffets in Marina, but it’s also such a hidden gem with a massive space for kids to run around, several pools and playgrounds, and it’s beach front! Honestly it’s the most complete hotel in the Marina (perhaps in all Dubai?). But first things first: onto the Breakfast.

Breakfast Buffet

Starting by the protein options: in the eggs station, they have options of fritatas, quiches, and omelets that are ready to go so you don’t have to wait for a fresh one to be made for you. They also have the scrambled eggs exactly made to my liking: very smooth and creamy. Honestly if they didn’t have anything else, I would be happy with that section.

The salad and cold cuts bar are also amazing - from smoked salmon to chicken breast, diversity of olives (which we are very particular about!) and dozen of options of vegetables both grilled and raw.

The pastries were out of this world, and the waffles and crepe freshly made were probably the best we had in a long time. I can’t put into words how happy we are to have such an amazing buffet so close to us!

Pool Area

As mentioned before, the hotel has amazing pools, which you can use by availing the day pass. We didn’t use it this time because it’s peak summer and our daughter can’t stand too long under the heat, so we just walked around a bit. There are so many peacocks and birds around, our daughter was obsessed!

Playground

They also have the best indoor playground in the region. I know - this could be a paid ad, but it’s not! It’s just that we really love this hotel. The playground is available for guests, and you can also buy a membership, but I don’t remember how much. Sorry not very useful but REALLY worth checking it out.

We went to Cheeky Monkeys instead, which is just across the street in the 1st floor of the Trident Grand Residence (which by the way also has a F45 and Barry’s, which is great for fitness enthusiastic parents that want to drop off the kids to play while they train). Big space, with a lot of natural light and very quiet, which is honestly a breath of fresh air coming from so many indoor playgrounds where music is just so loud. I honestly don’t know how it’s legal to have music so loud in places dedicated for kids.

We love this place! It’s for sure a must go to any family in Dubai! It was a really happy morning.
